Ostaniec is a natural spring water from the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland (the Polish Jura). The name comes from “ostańce” – the limestone rock outcrops that are the hallmark of the region.

The Jura castles closest to us are Pilcza in Smoleń and Ogrodzieniec – the heart of the Trail of the Eagles’ Nests, not far from the sources of the Warta and Pilica rivers.
Protected intake beneath Bukowiec hill
The Ostaniec water intakes lie in a separate, protected area of 18 hectares on the slope of Bukowiec hill, next to the buffer zone of the Jura Landscape Park.
The deposit lies 100 metres deep. It is separated from surface influences by a 45-metre layer of solid rock, which protects the purity of the water.
On the watershed of the Warta and Pilica
Our intake lies on the watershed, the boundary between the Oder and Vistula basins. Streams to the west of us flow into the Warta, and those to the east flow via the Pilica into the Vistula. The source of the Warta is 13 km away and the source of the Pilica 12 km.

A taste that stays with you
The water has a balanced mineral composition and contains no iron compounds, nitrates or nitrites – the traces of farming. That is why it tastes good both chilled and warm, as well as in tea, coffee and food.
